2022 Conference
The 2022 Conference and Expo was held at Joondalup Resort, Country Club Boulevard, Connolly between Tuesday 9 (Golf day) and Thursday 11 August.
LG Works is a not for profit organisation for Supervisors, Managers, Engineers, Greenkeepers and Works Officers within Western Australia. The Conference and Expo can give you opportunities to:
- access the latest technologies for the changing issues you face
- advance your professional skills and knowledge
- maintain competencies and standards necessary in local government
- explore issues related to your wellbeing.
Nestled in natural bushland just 25 minutes north of Perth CBD and five minutes from WA’s Sunset Coast, Joondalup Resort offers an oasis of relaxation, comfort and state of the art facilities.

Training will be conducted online with the aid of the Brain Box Team.

Engineering and Other Services
Director: Allister Butcher
Rural Infrastructure Services (RIS) have 18 years of experience in the Local Government industry, primarily in the Operations/Works area, managing these areas all the way from $1m to $17m annual budgets across the Wheatbelt, Gascoyne and South West areas.
RIS can provide support and/or delivery of services to Local Governments in the areas of project development, project management, municipal and grant funding arrangements, budgeting, asset management, asset inspections, development/planning applications (engineering aspects) review and assessments, subdivision assessments (including design review, inspections and approvals), staff management and much more.
With experience in the rural local government area, RIS have a passion to assist these local governments to deliver to the highest possible level and secure as much funding as possible.
Please feel free to contact Allister to discuss your requirements and how Rural Infrastructure Services may be able to assist to lighten the load and allow the local government officers to spend the time doing what they need to do.
