Gren Putland
Network Operations Manager
Wheatbelt Region Main Roads WA
Presenting: Regulatory interaction – LGA and Main Roads.
Gren Putland worked for the Town of Northam in the early 70’s, project managing infrastructure upgrades (including the Avon suspension footbridge and the first non-metro secondary water treatment works). He left the industry for many years in the 80s to rejoin Main Roads as contractor and employee for the last ~30 years.
Gren is the Wheatbelt Region Network Operations manager and Incident Manager dealing with 42 of the state’s Local Authorities.
Paul Read
Commercial Director of Brainbox
Paul has had an eclectic history but comes from a training/ coaching background commencing over 25 years ago. He initially started teaching and coaching sports in the UK but from 2015 to 2022 he was running software implementations in WA, NT and SA, where organising and conducting training sessions were a significant component of his role. These sessions were primarily for a company’s Board of Directors and the C suite but could equally be for anyone in the business using the software. Therefore, he’s fully aware how important continuous education is. He’s just completed his Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security.
Brainbox is the developer of the ‘LG Works e-learning’ platform.

Paul is passionate about our work as a social enterprise, firmly believing in the commercial strategies and innovative business model we have in place to support our purpose of empowering people with disability to lead fulfilling lives. The work carried out by both Twinkarri and Westland Works directly contributes to providing individuals with disabilities access to purpose-driven employment, social belonging, and independence
Paul's previous role as CEO of the Australian Inclusion Group, coupled with senior positions at Scitech and the Tax Institute of Australia, ensure he is well placed to guide the Intelife Group into the future.
Greg Thrupp
Operations Manager
Greg brings over two decades of experience in the industry to Twinkarri. With qualifications spanning horticulture, arboriculture, and frontline management, he also holds an EWP, MR, Pest Management Technician and traffic controller licences. Greg’s responsibilities include planning, organising, and directing all operations related to the 4 x 25-tonne excavators, providing mulching and vegetation services across regional and metropolitan WA, scoping and pricing works while effectively coordinating the team.
His unwavering attention to clients and operational excellence is matched only by his commitment to safety and quality.
Laurie Jerome
Senior Operations Manager
Laurie has been with Intelife for 18 months and brings extensive experience in contract and services management to our Commercial division. Previously Laurie held a state management role at Spotless Group, overseeing food, cleaning, and facilities management contracts. Prior to that Laurie was GM of Operations and GM of Business Development for WA and SA with AHS Hospitality, AHS boasted a nationwide team of over 5000 employees and managed more than 180 contracts.
Laurie is a people-centric leader, with an emphasis on commercial management and growth.
